While attending Pikes Peak Community College, I became close friends with Dave Oaks. One day he meet me in the cafeteria and presented me with "The Tiger's Fang" by Paul Twitchell. His dedication reads "Let there be no purpose in friendship save the deepening of the spirit" -- a quote by Kahil Gibran. He also wrote, "May the pages within bring you much joy. Dave."
Now decades later, I'd like to know what became of Dave. Maybe he'll find this blog and contact me, if he remembers me.
